Tiger Lotus Tattoo and Body Piercing

Recommended aftercare for a new tattoo

  • Keep wrapped with Saniderm for 5 days.

  • The morning of day 6, carefully remove the wrap (peel slowly and use lotion or oil to get off if needed)

  • After removing wrap, wash with liquid soap (Baby soap, Liquid Dove, or a plain liquid soap with no dyes or perfumes). Liquid soap only. Do Not use bar soap.

  • Pat dry with clean, dry paper towel (regular towel will leave lint which can increase risk of infection).

  • On the week 2 or 3 (depending on when it is mostly healed) you may apply a small amount of lotion (Lubriderm, Eucerin or a plain lotion with no dyes or perfumes,). Rub in really well. After applying lotion, wait 5-10 minutes, and then look at the area in the light, if it’s shiny then there is too much lotion. Blot off excess lotion with a paper towel.

DO NOT USE VASELINE, NEOSPORIN, BACITRACIN, BEES WAX, AQUAFOR, A&D, COCONUT OIL OR LANOLIN PRODUCTS
